Enterprises of all scale and size can use the all-encompassing ProximaX Sirius platform to power a diverse range of use cases. From simple standalone applications to complex system solutions, ProximaX Sirius is built to power it all.

The fully decentralized configuration of the ProximaX Sirius platform integrates with peer-to-peer ("P2P"), off-chain components such as content delivery networks ("CDN") and other cloud offerings. This provides app developers the liberty to expand their creativity in building great P2P applications without fear of non-compliance or vulnerability to attacks.

ProximaX distributed file management system (DFMS) interfaces with NEM blockchain and works in four scenarios:

1. ProximaX Public DFMS with NEM Public chain

2. ProximaX Private DFMS with NEM Public Chain

3. ProximaX Public DFMS with NEM Private Chain

4. ProximaX Private DFMS with NEM Private Chain

ProximaX will provide DApp developers with an easy-to-use SDK that abstracts the ProximaX protocol layer into a dynamic second layer on top of the NEM blockchain layer that can carry different unique DApp protocols. This will ensure that the DApp developers can build great P2P applications with the best possible security protocols without relying on points of central authority. It will empower developers to build apps and monetise in the ways they want without any unnecessary compliance pressure.

This solution makes use of the NEM blockchain for value and hash transaction and the NEM cryptography framework to gain access to the ProximaX DFMS and work in a tightly integrated environment based on the above four scenarios.

The ProximaX Sirius platform consists of multiple servers distributed in a network. It follows a “hub and spoke” design where the core component is the blockchain, or the “hub,” and the other components are service layers, or “spokes”. The service layers consist of P2P and distributed storage, streaming, database, and Supercontract where:

All storage, messaging, and transactions are encrypted

Streaming includes text, video, and voice data

All events are time-stamped in the blockchain

Automated business and process executions are conducted through off-chain Supercontract

Additional service layers can be added to ProximaX Sirius to offer more functionalities. These layers may be anything from specialized services such as artificial intelligence to distributed computing for genome sequencing.

With the expansion of service layers, however, the performance of individual layers remain unaffected. This is similar to multiple sets of network server nodes running in parallel and held together by the blockchain at the core. Each set of network nodes performs a specific function, and the function power grows with more server nodes plugged in.
