PopBase

PopBase is a California-based SaaS platform that offers a wellness focused, subscription-based, interactive education experience for children and their caretakers. The company allows users to create immersive 3D stories with its codeless storytelling platform. PopBase gives users simple templates to create immersive content that has the distribution speed of social media, the interactivity and immersion of open-world videogames, and the long-form format of TV Programming. The company is headquartered in Burbank, California and was founded by Amit Tishler, Lisa Wong, and Richard Weeks in January, 2017. 

Woodland Mysteries is a mobile app that provides an immersive, story driven, interactive experience focusing on improving wellness literacy for younger audiences. The application is a demo of a mobile app that PopBase created in order to demonstrate the capabilities of their technology. The company entered their demo version of Woodland Mysteries into the Global Wellness Summit 2020 competition for Well Technology: Start-Ups from the Start-Up Nation. Woodland Mysteries won the competition and earned a 400k prize. Since their success at the summit, the company has planned to further develop their product and hopes to launch a complete version of Woodland Mysteries in the fall of 2021.
