Persona Technologies is an American software company specializing in the creation of bots for public figures. It allows public figures to make more personal connections to their fans and followers without individually contacting each one of them. It works through the Facebook Messenger interface. Fans can send messages to the public figure through his/her Facebook page and Persona uses data obtained through the follower's Facebook account to return a personalized message based on the fan's gender, city, shopping habits, purchased items, and more.
The bots that are built by Persona can also aid the public figure in selling merchandise, sending signed autographs, gaining more followers by sending updates about Instagram and YouTube, and sending mass messages that can be customized to be sent to certain groups of fans by gender, city, et cetera.
