Otto Frank

Otto Frank was born on May 12, 1889, in Frankfurt. He was a citizen of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland. Otto studied at Heidelberg University and later worked as a merchant and businessperson. He founded the company Opekta and established the Anne Frank House.

Otto Frank was the father of Anne Frank and Margot Frank. He had two children: Margot[(36294104)(#child) and Anne, who both became famous for their tragic experiences during World War II. Otto Frank died on August 19, 1980, in Basel, leaving behind a legacy as the father of two extraordinary young women and as the founder of institutions that continue to educate people about their story.
