Welles was the founder of the Mercury Theatre and directed notable films, such as "Citizen Kane," "The Magnificent Ambersons," and "The Other Side of the Wind". He was also the author of "Journey into Fear". His works covered various genres like comedy, drama, spy films, documentary films, action films, and comedy-drama.
