Nordea Ventures is a venture capital and private equity firm investing in financial technology companies that is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland and was founded in 2017 by Nordea.

Notable investments made by Nordea Ventures include PFC Technology (series B and series C) and Tink (series C and series D).

At the time of announcing Nordea Ventures the president and CEO of Nordea, Casper von Koskull, made the following statement regarding why Nordea started Nordea Ventures:

We want to play an active role in developing new technologies for the financial sector from early on. It’s not just about providing capital, but also about engaging with start-ups and sharing our expertise. This will benefit Nordea and the companies we invest in, but most of all our customers.
