Nicolas Berggruen

Nicolas Berggruen is the founder and president of Berggruen Holdings, a private investment company, and the co-founder and chairman of the Berggruen Institute, a think tank addressing world issues of the 21st century. Berggruen was born in Paris, France and obtained a Bachelor of Science in finance and international business from New YorkUniversity. He is dedicated to exploring global issues and in connection, formed the 21st Century Council, the Council for the Future of Europe and the Think Long Committee for California. Mr. Berggruen is the co-publisher of Noema Magazine and co-author of two books: Renovating Democracy: Governing in the Age of Globalization and Digital Capitalism & Intelligent Governance for the 21st Century.
