NeXT

NeXT was a privately held company founded by Steve Jobs in 1985. The company was headquartered in Redwood City, California and operated in the technology, cinematography, software, and computer hardware industries. Steve Jobs also served as its CEO and owner, with NeXT being a part of the parent organization, Steve Jobs.

Although NeXT was based in the United States, the company was eventually closed. Apple, another company that was founded by Steve Jobs, later acquired NeXT, making it an instance of both a company and an organization.
