Moonwell is an open lending, borrowing, and decentralized finance protocol developed on Moonbeam and Moonriver.
Moonwell Apollo is Moonwell's inaugural deployment, and it was launched on Kusama's Moonriver network, which is the sister parachain of Polkadot’s Moonbeam. On Moonriver, products will be incubated and created before being launched on Moonbeam. Moonwell Artemis is Moonwell's second deployment, and it is live on Polkadot's Moonbeam network.
In 2022, the open beta launch of Moonwell Apollo—an open borrowing and lending decentralized finance protocol that is powered by Moonriver network—became live. Following the launch, Moonriver users can supply crypto assets and get rewards. Apollo will act as the community-oriented protocol, as extra features, including community-oriented initiatives, are the main focus for the protocol's Moonriver edition. This will facilitate the testing and refinement of all features for the transition to Artemis—the protocol counterpart that will be launched on Moonbeam.
