MobileGo team has been developing a platform for mobile games based on blockchain and smart contracts with the ability to conduct decentralized multiplayer tournaments. So far, professional gaming sports (eSports) is open only to the gaming elite due to the high threshold of entry into professional tournaments. The company promised to revolutionize gaming and make gaming sports accessible to everyone with MobileGo tokens on the GameCredits platform. MobileGo owners were promised to be given the right to participate in a peer-to-peer game, as well as to organize their own decentralized gaming tournaments and earn money on this thanks to Ethereum smartphone technologies.
Almost nothing of what was stated in the roadmap was done, because after the end of the crowdsale, the company's management changed its vision of the project, and soon there was a split in the team. The created platform does not actually work. The remaining developers and part of the community are trying to revive the project, but they do not have access to the money collected at the ICO.
On July 30, one of the leading developers of MobileGo, Jack Kuveko, posted his explanation of what is happening on Reddit. On the official website of the project, he is still represented as a CSO (commercial director).
According to Kuveke, in late summer-early fall of fall 2017, it became clear that their applications were not ready to enter the market. After that, the team dropped the original roadmap. At the same time, the project management began to develop the idea of GNation, a gaming brand almost unrelated to cryptocurrency.Side projects were created: an application for managing the Prometheus crypto wallet, an application for reverse viewing the Real Market, but the main project almost did not develop.
