Nikolai Nikolaevich Bortnik was born on March 8, 1990 in Kherson. In Kherson he graduated from KhTLI (Kherson Tauride Lyceum of Arts) as an artist. Later he moved to Kyiv, where he entered the Kiev Municipal Academy of Variety and Circus Art (specialization "Variety Vocal")
He writes the music and lyrics performed by Max Barski himself. He is one of the few pop stars in Ukraine who creates quality music with ultra-modern sound, and his videos - "Agony", "Lost In Love | I'm losing you "," Heart beats "," Z.Dance "- meet the world standards of music video.
The young singer already has experience working with European stars. In 2010, the singer starred in the project "Mademoiselle Zhivago" with French-Canadian star Lara Fabian.
In February 2012, the artist presented in Ukraine, Russia, the Baltics, Georgia, Belarus and Kazakhstan his grand project - horror musical "Z.Dance", consisting of 4 new singles and one cover of the legendary Michael Jackson hit "Thriller". The musical is made in the popular zombie style.
In 2013, the single "I Wanna Run" became the soundtrack to the PEPSI commercial.
