Leerink Revelation Partners, also called Revelation Parnters, is a venture capital and private equity firm focused on investing in healthcare companies that is headquartered in San Francisco, California and was founded in 2015 by Scott Halsted, Zack Scott, and Mike Boggs. The firm specializes in providing both capital and liquidity to healthcare investors, companies, founders, and funds. Leerink Revelation Partners typically makes investments of $5 to $30 million and will sometimes make investments exceeding $100 million in conjunction with the firms limited partners.
On June 12, 2018 Leerink Revelation Partners completed raising $227 million for their second venture fund. The firm will use the fund to make secondary investments in healthcare companies. At the time fo announcing their second fund, Leerink Revelation Partners also announced that Fred Lee will be joining the firm as the Head of Business Origination. The founder and managing partner of Leerink Revelation Partners, Scott Halsted, made the following statement regarding their second fund and hiring of Fred Lee:
