In the village there is a museum of the underground Komsomol organization "Spartak", which operated in the Golovanivsky district. The museum was opened on October 28, 1978.

According to the 1989 census of the Ukrainian SSR, the current population of the village was 840 people, of whom 365 were men and 475 women.
According to the 2001 census of Ukraine, 844 people lived in the village.

Famous people
During the defense of the village in August 1941, Major GV Mikley (1907-1941), Hero of the Soviet Union, died in battle and was buried here. A monument to Gennady Valerievich was erected in the village.
Bezverkhniy Volodymyr Oleksiiovych (1975—2014) - soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
