Juan Gabriel

Juan Gabriel (born January 7, 1950) was a Mexican songwriter, composer, music producer, singer, and musician. He was born in Parácuaro, Mexico, and held Mexican citizenship. He was known for his work in Mariachi and Latin pop genres, and operated in the music industry.

Juan Gabriel, a pseudonym, was also known as Alberto Aguilera Valadez, and throughout his career, he collaborated with music producer Mark Pritchard. He passed away in Santa Monica, California on August 28, 2016.
