Ishaan Nerurkar is the founder and CEO of LeapYear Technologies, a company with an enterprise platform for private machine learning.
Nerurkar attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he also worked as a researcher from May 2013 to April 2014. He founded a consulting firm, Primus Systems, in March 2014. The firm applied research in theoretical computer science and economics to come up with solutions to real-world problems. Some of these solutions were developed for Fortune 500 companies and the government of the United States. He was also a researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from April 2014 to October of that year. Nerurkar led Primus Systems until May 2015, and the firm closed.
In June 2015, Nerurkar founded LeapYear Technologies. LeapYear provides an enterprise platform designed to keep sensitive information and data private through aggregates, analytics, and machine learning. The platform is used by companies in the healthcare, technology, and financial fields, among others.
