The Invus Group is an investment firm that prefers to invest in companies operating in the consumer products and services, food, specialty retail, software, biotech, medical devices and products and professional service sectors across the United States and Europe. The firm was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in New York, New York.
Invus invests with flexibility in the types of companies and situations where they feel they can get involved with success for themselves and their portfolio companies.
Invus has been reinvesting the same pool of money from the same group of European families (through their Artal investment vehicle) since their founding. Today they manage over $4 billion in an evergreen fund and work out of offices in New York, London, Paris and Hong Kong.
Invus has made investments in Mission Lane, Inotrem, Achilles Therapeutics, ORIC Pharmaceuticals, Kronos Bio, Seer, BioNTech, Booster Fuels, Thrive Earlier Detection, AlloVir and Schrodinger.
They have exited their investments in Moderna Therapeutics, Oyster Point Pharmaceuticals, BioNTech, PatientsLikeMe, Kaleido BioSciences, UNITY Biotechnology, Gossamer Bio and Arcus Biosciences.
