Innovations in Cloud technology, containerized software, and automated deployment services have allowed our everyday mobile devices to manage themselves. Updates, patches, and enhancements are received at a click of the button, with little or no disruption to our daily activities. However, some of the most critical devices utilized by our military still require onsite technicians to hand deliver and install the latest software packages critical to their mission success. This approach greatly inhibits the rapid nature of these highly skilled teams and restricts their ability to work as a Joint distributed unit. Skyhub is a software deployment and management system in the Cloud, rapidly enabling field teams update and manage relevant DevSecOps software across all their devices. Designed specifically with Air Force Operators to support their field teams and mission, Skyhub innovates how a complex software ecosystem is managed and maintained to keep our forces with the latest capability, anywhere they need to fight. Skyhub manages 3rd party software packages and distributes a fully tested integrated system to end user devices instantly, assuring the right capability is available to the warfighter at the time they need it.
