Headspace

Headspace is a meditation and mental health app; as a company it is a part of Headspace Health, a mental healthcare provider. The app provides instruction on breathing techniques and guided meditations. Through their B2B business, Headspace for Work, Headspace offers its products and services to more than 700 companies, such as Starbucks, Adobe, GE, Hyatt, and Unilever.

Headspace works with government entities including New York State and the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) to provide digital mental health tools. Headspace partners with Apple, Waze, and Amazon. They also offer sport and movement-related content in partnership with Nike, the NBA, and the US Women's National Soccer Team.

Headspace was founded in 2010 by Andy Puddicombe and Rich Pierson. Both founders are still involved with the company, and Rich Peirson was CEO prior to the current CEO, CeCe Morken, who was appointed January 2021.
