Harlan Ellison (May 27, 1934 - June 27, 2018) was a prolific American novelist, writer, journalist, and screenwriter. He was born in Cleveland and held United States citizenship. Ellison attended Ohio State University for his education. He passed away in Los Angeles.
Ellison was known for his many notable works, including "Dangerous Visions", "A Boy and His Dog", "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream", "'Repent, Harlequin!' Said the Ticktockman", "Again, Dangerous Visions", "The Last Dangerous Visions", and "Harlan Ellison's Watching". Ellison also used the pseudonyms Cheech Beldone and Phil Beldone throughout his career.
