Gerens Capital is a microventure capital firm in Chile that focuses on accelerating the development of companies. Founded 2001 in Santiago, Region Metropolitana, Chile by Patricio Arrau, it invests in early stage ventures. Its portfolio companies include Happyshop. As of April 2020, Gerens Capital has invested in Happyshop on February 3, 2012. This investment in the Series B round of Happyshop was valued at $4M. Happyshop is a SaaS-based company for mobile shopping marketing designed for retail and brands. Gerens Capital has raised two funds, their latest being FIP Precursor II. This fund was announced on January 1, 2010 and raised a total of $27M.
