Geena Davis

Geena Davis, born Virginia Elizabeth Davis, is an American film producer, actor, writer, model, television producer, and screenwriter. Born on January 21, 1956 in Wareham, Massachusetts, USA, she holds American citizenship and is noted for her work in film and cinematography as part of the movie industry.

Davis studied at Wareham High School, New England College, and Boston University College of Fine Arts. She is the founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.

Over her career, she has appeared in notable works such as "Tootsie," "Thelma & Louise," "Earth Girls Are Easy," "Beetlejuice," "A League of Their Own," "The Fly," "Cutthroat Island," and "The Long Kiss Goodnight".
