Firoz Patel

Firoz Patel is a Canadian entrepreneur who is widely recognized for his innovative contributions to the world of online payment processing. He attended college in Montreal and in 1994 Firoz Patel graduated from the Champlain College in Montreal, Canada. He received a Business Administration Degree in Marketing.

Patel's career in the tech industry began in the early 2000s when he worked for a software company that specialized in developing custom e-commerce solutions for businesses. In 2004, he co-founded IntelliSky, a web development and online marketing company that provided customized solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.

It was during his time at IntelliSky that Patel first became interested in online payment processing. He recognized the potential for an easier, more efficient way for businesses to accept payments online, and began researching and experimenting with different payment processing solutions.

In 2005, Patel co-founded AlertPay Inc., a Montreal-based online payment processing company that quickly gained traction and grew to become one of the leading payment processors in the world. AlertPay offered a range of services, including online payments, money transfers, and e-wallets, and quickly gained a reputation for its easy-to-use interface and strong customer support.

Under Patel's leadership, AlertPay grew rapidly and attracted a diverse range of clients from around the world, including individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. In 2012, AlertPay was acquired by UK-based payment processor MH Pillars Ltd. and rebranded as Payza.
