Divnogorsk

The city of Divnogorsk is an urban district located on the right bank of the Yenisei River, 35 km southwest of Krasnoyarsk and 6 km from the mouth of the Mana River in the northwestern spurs of the Eastern Sayan. Divnogorsk can be reached by the M-54 Yenisei federal highway, the railway and the Yenisei River. The city has a railway station, a pier and a bus station.

Divnogorsk borders in the east with Krasnoyarsk and Berezovsky districts, in the north with Emelyanovsky, in the west with Kozulsky and in the south with Balakhtinsky districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The area of ​​the urban district is 50,150 hectares. The municipal formation directly includes the city of Divnogorsk, the village of Ovsyanka and the settlements of Ust-Mana, Sliznevo, Mansky, Verkhnyaya Biryusa, Bakhta, Khmelniki. According to Krasnoyarskstat data as of January 1, 2014, the population is 32,683 people.

Divnogorsk is called the city near the "wonderful mountains". The city is surrounded by mountains and rocks. In the central part of the territory occupied by the city district, there is a characteristic ridge of remnant rocks up to 85 m high, made of limestone. The rivers Mana, Yenisei, Biryusa flow through the territory of the urban district, the Krasnoyarsk reservoir also enters the territory. The average temperature is -16.9 °С in January and +18.5 °С in July. +35 C° is the maximum temperature in July, in January the temperature minimum reaches -47 C°.
