Deceive Inc.

Deceive Inc. is a video game world where the player works for a fictional private corporation with a monopoly over the international espionage market. The game is published by Tripwire Interactive and was developed by Sweet Bandit Studios. It was launched for Xbox X or S, PC (Personal Computer), and Playstation 5 on March 21, 2023. Gameplay offers cross-platform support, allowing players on various platforms (consoles or PC) to play with each other regardless of their preferred platform. The game is available on Steam, Epic Games Store, Playstation and Xbox digital stores, and as a physical game for the two consoles.

The game is a first-person perspective multiplayer game where players compete against each other in stealth and spycraft with action. Players are placed in a world of high-stakes subterfuge, where they disguise themselves as others or objects in the game using gadgets, develop player skills, and compete against other players for the same objective. Players can play alone or against other players. The game encourages players to play dirty against each other to achieve the objective across a sprawling map.

The game encourages players to try different character types (agents)—who each have their own customizable weapon and skillset—to find a preferred play style and loadout. Some gadgets involved in such a loadout include an inflatable mat, holo-mimic, and bullet-proof umbrella. All are offered a holographic watch that allows characters to disguise themselves to avoid suspicion. Players with different play styles can then play together to create teams with various skills and talents. The game also offers various secrets to keep players engaged while in a player-versus-player match.
