Dave Bing , born on November 24, 1943 , is an American politician and businessperson . Bing holds citizenship in the United States and was born in Washington, D.C. . He is also known as David "Dave" Bing and is recognized for his career as a professional basketball player .

Bing completed his education at both Spingarn High School and Syracuse University . Throughout his basketball career, he received several accolades, including the NBA All-Star Game MVP award .
