Christa Wolf

Christa Wolf was a German writer, screenwriter, politician, novelist, journalist, and critic. She was born on March 18, 1929, in Gorzów Wielkopolski, and held citizenship in both East Germany and Germany. Wolf passed away on December 1, 2011, in Berlin.
