Central Intelligence Agency

The Central Intelligence Agency, also known as the CIA, is an organization founded on September 18, 1947. The founding of the CIA can be attributed to Dwight D. Eisenhower, William J. Donovan, Allen Dulles, and Harry S. Truman. The headquarters of the organization is located at the George Bush Center for Intelligence in Langley, Virginia, United States.

The CIA operates as a subsidiary under the U.S. Department of Defense and has subsidiaries of its own, such as the Impossible Missions Force and Crypto AG. As an organization, the CIA is classified as an instance of an organization.
