Blanket (company)

Blanket is a developer of a sales demonstrations booking platform designed to automate the sales development process. The company's platform provides an API and dashboard to manage referrals, ambassadors, affiliates and field representatives to help enable organizations to book sales demos and increase product sales. They do this by prospecting, emailing, building landing pages, and scheduling calls for sales representatives.

Blanket's goal is to help users cover their Total Addressable Market (TAM), which is where the name Blanket came from.

Blanket was founded in 2016 by Alex Nucci and Ricardo Vazquez originally as Gramercy, which was a tool for creating marketing campaigns. During production of the Gramercy product, they ran out of momentum and funding and found investor interest in their team with a different product. They then pivoted to Blanket, a sales demonstration automation platform.

Following the pivot, Alex Nucci and Ricardo Vazquez participated in the LAUNCH Accelerator in San Francisco. Following the accelerator, the company added Ed Escobar as its head of operations.
