Vadim Novik was born in 1975 in Leningrad. His childhood was spent in the Kupchino microdistrict: until the age of six, he lived on Belgradskaya Street at No. 44, after which he moved to Dimitrova Street, 31/1.From 1st to 3rd grade, Novik studied at school No. 219. Then mom decided to transfer her son to a more decent school No. 310. And Vadim received a certificate at the 230th school, where he studied in a class with a medical bias.
He started singing and playing drums for the first time in his band "Reanimation" in the 1980s, when he was still a schoolboy. In the early 1990s, he was the lead guitarist of the band "Fragments". In 1998 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy. Then he worked for three years at Children's Hospital No. 5 as a pathologist, and also for some time as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Military field Surgery of the research group of wound ballistics and damaging factors of explosion at the Military Medical Academy
