Basis AI

Basis AI was a Singapore-based company that developed business solutions using artificial intelligence (AI). The stated goal of the company was to build a responsible AI powerhouse in the Asia-Pacific area (APAC). It was founded in 2018 and was acquired by Aicadium in 2021. Prior to its acquisition, Basis AI had developed solutions for organizations such as ComfortDelGro, Singapore Airlines, and the Singapore government.

Basis AI's main offering was its platform called Bedrock, which is still being used by Aicadium under the same name. It is an end-to-end machine learning platform that leverages a user's data to build frameworks and structures that benefit their business. The platform allows users to orchestrate all stages of product and solution development, from prototyping to production cycle. This process usually takes several months, but the Bedrock platform expedites it and develops the stages within minutes, according to the company.

Some features of Bedrock include a dashboard to view data in the form of graphics, pipeline schedulers for processes such as model training, version control capabilities for models, and scalable models for deployments.
