Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, had two children: Arthur Wellesley, 2nd Duke of Wellington, and Lord Charles Wellesley. His father was Garret Wesley, 1st Earl of Mornington.

He passed away at Walmer Castle on September 14, 1852.
