Arcion, formerly Blitzz, is a San Mateo-based developer of database replication platform designed to offer autonomous migration and cloud-neutral database replication. The company's platform replicates database updates to streaming data pipelines, offering a real-time, consistent view of customer data, assets and business intelligence across applications and business units, enabling businesses to reduce migration and licensing costs and increased productivity of engineering teams.

Arcion offers users autonomous migration and cloud-neutral continuous database replication. They offer autonomous migrate database schema; replication between homogeneous and heterogeneous data management systems whether deployed on-premise or on cloud; copy creation of production databases to offer operational reporting and analytics; query offload from operational systems for load reduction; consolidated and distributed data sources and centers; recoverable and consistent data; replication of relational, semi-structured, and unstructured data in multiple formats; and a scalable platform to handle concurrent high volume and velocity data ingestion from multiple sources to multiple destinations.

The platform does not require shell access either at source or at destination. And this works for initial load and for continuous replication modes. Arcion was founded in 2016 as Blitzz by Rajkumar Sen and Miryana Joksovic, seasoned leaders from the world of databases and distributed systems to help enterprises move from legacy relational database management systems to distributed cloud-native databases.
