It ceased operations on April 1, 2020, after choosing to focus on building and developing esports venues in Kazakhstan. The organization later returned to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in November 2021 with the signing of a new roster.

April 3rd - AVANGAR announce that Jame will be going inactive for an unspecified amount of time. He is replaced on the active lineup by Ramz1k.

May 11th - Jame returns to active lineup. Ramz1k released.

July 19th - fitch replaces dimasick; the latter is put on the transfer list.

November 6th - Gambit Esports sign dimasick.

2019

March 18th - KrizzeN steps down from the active roster indefinitely due to health issues, SANJI will stand-in.

April 12th - AVANGAR sign SANJI after 1 month substitute period.

June 24th - fitch is transfer listed.

June 25th - AVANGAR sign AdreN.

July 31st - fitch is released.

October 7th - Winstrike Team acquire KrizzeN from AVANGAR.

December 16th - Virtus.pro acquire AVANGAR's roster.

2020

February 13th - AVANGAR transition AVANGAR Q into being the organization's main squad.

March 16th - AVANGAR part ways with lmbt.

April 1st - AVANGAR cease operations and release their team.

2021

November 29th - AVANGAR announce their return to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with the signings of FinigaN, znx, kade0, s1natoRRR, ICY, and malinger as coach.

2022

January 29th - AVANGAR part ways with znx and add fozil and enzero on trial.
