Execration, abbreviated XctN, is a Filipino Dota 2 team.
Overview
Originally two squads, the team was remade into one, composed of Kim0, Foxx, Ewe, RR, Abeng and their manager Beho, with the title sponsor of InterActive Philippines. The team saw success in the Star Ladder Star Series Season 10 - SEA Division and with the addition of the final member Bimbo (a former captain and mid-laner of Mineski), the team continued doing well in the SEA Region by defeating various strong teams and successfully won the slot as the SEA Representative for Star Ladder Star Series Season 10 - Lan Finals.
Execration eventually released their sponsor InterActive Philippines and went back to their original team name Execration. With the addition of Doc and Primo who had been former teammates in previous teams, the team is rebuilding again and prove to the world that they are worth of their achievements.
Execration have underwent some roster issues that made them unable to train properly, and due to that they released Julz and Yaj. The addition of Boombacs and Bok gave the team hope that this roster would work out. In late May, 2014, Boombacs and Bok went inactive, and were eventually replaced by Abeng and Nando in June.
In 2016, Execration qualified for The International 2016 through the wildcards but failed to make it to the group stages. After the tournament, the team won the MPGL Southeast Asian Championship beating MVP Phoenix 2-0 in the grand finals. A few days later the organisation made one change with Rapy replacing BYB as their offlaner for the Fall Major 2016 due to BYB's ineligible status from Valve, caused from a match fixing incident.[1] Despite the team's roster being changed, they were ultimately not able to participate due to visa issues and were replaced by LGD Gaming.
