
Selçuk Bayraktar, the architect of Turkey's first national S/UAV systems, is the Chairman of Baykar's Board of Directors and Technology Leader, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation.
Selçuk Bayraktar was born in 1979 in Istanbul-Sarıyer. He completed his primary education at Sarıyer Primary School and graduated from Robert College in 1997. Between 1997-2002, he continued his undergraduate education at ITU Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. During his university education, he received an internship acceptance from the GRASP laboratory of the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). With the scholarship offer he received as part of his internship, he continued his master's degree at Upenn in the Department of Electrical Engineering between 2002-2004.
