The time has come finally to tell everyone about the gameplay of World Eternal Online (WEO)! WEO to be a fun, cooperative MMO where the community can immerse themselves in countless adventures and on top of that, can also earn NFTs and tokens.

Heroes & Battling

In WEO, you control a hero in a world with thousands of other players with roaming monsters and valuable resources to gather. Overhead view with a simple point-and-click interface similar to MOBAs like League of Legends. A dynamic world changes as players work together to unlock new areas, events and dungeons. During their time, players will encounter many different types of monsters, raid bosses and PvP battles. Not all heroes will be ideal in every situation. WEO is all about preparation. That means bringing the right heroes, wearing the right gear and drinking the right potions is key. If a boss summons 100 water elementals, then bringing a hero with a fire AoE will be sure to help.

At its heart, WEO is a hero collector. There will be 40+ heroes to collect at launch and players can switch to any hero as long as they are not in combat. Every hero has 4 skills (although some extremely rare versions might have more!) and a set of random traits. Even 2 heroes of the same type will have some major differences.

Heroes can greatly increase their stats by absorbing other heroes and their traits. We call this hero ascension. Certain traits will be highly valued on certain heroes which will increase their rarity and become highly sought after NFTs. We’ll be writing a full article on hero ascension later.

Craft Everything

Players will acquire all sorts of materials by killing monsters and gathering resources. These materials are used to create the items that are used in the game. Almost everything in WEO is crafted from monster loot and resources. Some of the things that can be crafted by players are:

*Gear that heroes wear

*Potions that temporarily enhance heroes

*Breeding pets for gathering resources

To ensure a vibrant economy where resources are constantly consumed, these things can never be found and always must be crafted.

In addition to monsters, the world is also filled with resources to gather. Heroes drop small pets at berry bushes or gold nodes to gather resources over time. Pets can also be bred for certain traits which gives them a chance to find some rare resources while gathering. More on that in a later article!

Player Towns

It’s important to us that players are a big part of the crafting economy. Players bring their raw materials to a crafter to make items. WEO will have a central town which can craft basic items to get players started. However, scattered throughout the world will be several towns owned by players inhabited by player blacksmiths, alchemists, pet breeders, etc. For example, I may bring some materials to a player blacksmith shop to make the Darkfire Sword. Here’s how it works:

*Players purchase land deeds to claim an empty town. We call these players land barons.

*A town contains a collection of building stalls

*Land barons rent out the building stalls to crafters

*Player crafters must own a medallion like a blacksmith medallion to rent a building stall and place their shop

*Players pay these crafters to make unique gear, potions, etc.

Crafters must acquire recipes and can also specialize their shop. Towns will also be a place where the most successful guilds will be able to setup a headquarters.

Earning While Playing

All players have a chance to earn no matter what role they take. Here are a few paths to success:

*Upgrade and gear up a diverse set of heroes and pets

*Run a town and rent building stalls to crafters

*Collect recipes and craft unique items for other players

*Breed and upgrade a diverse set of pets for other players

What Is FTX Token (FTT)?

FTT is the native cryptocurrency token of the crypto derivatives trading platform FTX that launched on May 8, 2019.

The team behind FTX comprises some of the largest crypto traders over the past few years who, having found issues with most mainstream crypto futures exchanges, decided to launch their own platform. FTX claims that it stands out due to such features as clawback prevention, a centralized collateral pool and universal stablecoin settlement.
