On November 22, 2017 Grail closed their series B funding round with $1.2 billion in funding from ARCH Venture Partners, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, Dentsu Ventures and Glen Kacher.
Butamax Advanced Biofuels is a biofuel company developing and commercializing technology for producing bio-isobutanol that is headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware. The company is a 50/50 joint venture between DuPontDuPont and BP, and was formed to commercialize bio-isobutanol as a transportation fuel and chemical industires using technologies developed by both companies.
On January 21, 2007 Green Biologics Ltd completed a venture capital round with $1.1 million in funding from shareholders investors, angel investors, and The Department of Trade and Industry-led technology Program of the United KingdomUnited Kingdom. The funding will be used for the development of biobutanol from cellulosic biomass. The Department of Trade and Industry-led technology Program of the United Kingdom contributed $494,000 out of the $1.1 million in funding.
