Steam is a video game digital distribution service by Valve. It was launched as a standalone software client in September 2003 as a way for Valve to provide automatic updates for their games, and expanded to include games from third-party publishers. Steam has also expanded into an online web-based and mobile digital storefront. Steam offers digital rights management (DRM), server hosting, video streaming, and social networking services. It also provides the user with installation and automatic updating of games, and community features such as friends lists and groups, cloud storage, and in-game voice and chat functionality.
The software provides a freely available application programming interface (API) called Steam works, which developers can use to integrate many of Steam's functions into their products, including in-game achievements, microtransactions, and support for user-created content through Steam Workshop. Though initially developed for use on Microsoft Windows operating systems, versions for macOS and Linux were later released. Mobile apps were also released for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone in the 2010s. The platform also offers a small selection of other content, including design software, hardware, game soundtracks, anime, and films.
The Steam platform is the largest digital distribution platform for PC gaming, holding around 75% of the market share in 2013. By 2017, users purchasing games through Steam totaled roughly US$4.3 billion, representing at least 18% of global PC game sales. By 2019, the service had over 34,000 games with over 95 million monthly active users. The success of Steam has led to the development of a line of Steam Machine micro consoles, which include the SteamOS operating system and Steam Controllers, Steam Link devices for local game streaming, and the Steam Deck, a handheld personal computer system tailored for running Steam games.

Vehicle simulation game made by scs software
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a truck simulator game developed and published by SCS Software. It was released on October 19, 2012. The game is a direct sequel to the Euro Truck Simulator in 2008.
A new gameplay system is introduced in Euro Truck Simulator 2. The player is required to create a profile and choose a city as their headquarters.
Early in the game, the player must complete quick jobs to save up money and credit to afford a truck of their own.
As the player completes more jobs, the player earns skill points to invest in one of the six skills available; for example, allowing them to haul more valuable freight, or allowing them to take longer deliveries.
Later in the game, players may also purchase additional trucks, garages, and hire NPC drivers to expand their trucking business.
For people on Steam, various Achievements can be unlocked while playing.
The game includes many countries featured in previous titles. The map and simulated European roadway are more detailed than in previous games, and features more cities. New countries, such as Luxembourg and Slovakia are introduced.
The maps of Germany and the United Kingdom are derived from German Truck Simulator and UK Truck Simulator, respectively. These areas notably lack the quality of regions featured in more recent DLCs, such as the Scandinavia DLC and the Italia DLC. On May 23, 2018, SCS announced on their blog plans to rework parts of the old map, starting with northern Germany. Following the release of version 1.40 on March 24, 2021, Germany has now been fully reworked to modern standards. On August 1, 2021, SCS announced that they will plan to rework old parts of Austria, after rework of Germany.

Gang Beasts is a silly multiplayer party game with surly gelatinous characters, brutal mêlée fight sequences, and absurdly hazardous environments.
Gang Beasts is a beat 'em up party game developed and published by British indie studio Boneloaf. The title would originally be published by Double Fine Presents until May 2020 and self-published afterwards, while it would later be published in physical form by Skybound Games. The game released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, and PlayStation 4 on 12 December 2017, following an early access period for the PC platforms that began in August 2014. It was also released on the Xbox One on 27 March 2019.
Gang Beasts is a multiplayer beat 'em up party game with gelatinous and rather floppy characters, melee fight sequences, and hazardous environments, set in the fictional metropolis of Beef City. At initial release, it contained eight multiplayer stages. The core gameplay involves using various physical abilities such as punching or kicking an opponent until they are knocked out, and then attempting to toss them over one of the stage hazards. Opponents that have been knocked down are not completely defenseless however, as they can fight back to be released.
Already in its freeware alpha state, as well as upon Steam Early Access release, the game was met with positive response from critics and fans. Comments include Keith Stuart of The Guardian calling it "probably one of the silliest beat-'em-ups ever made," Jessica Conditt from Engadget calling it "a jolly good time," and Steve Hansen from Destructoid highlighting how its weirdness plays out well.
Outside of early access, Gang Beasts received mixed reviews from critics on both the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. On Metacritic, the game holds a score of 67/100 for the PlayStation 4 version based on 8 reviews, indicating "mixed or average reviews."
The game was nominated for "Excellence in Multiplayer" at the 2018 SXSW Gaming Awards, and for "Multiplayer" at the 14th British Academy Games Awards.
