Idinvest is a leading European private equity firm with €8bn AUM focused on the mid-market segment, financing SMBs at different stages of growth. It is mainly known for its Venture Capital arm that has invested in several European sucess stories (Criteo, Talend, Meetic, Vente-Privée, Sarenza etc.)
Idinvest Partners is a European Private Equity firm, mainly know for its Venture Capital activity. The company has €8bn under management AUM and is based in Paris. It was founded in 1997 under the name AGF Private Equity, as a subsidiary of Allianz. In 2010, it became independent.
In May 2018, Eurazeo and Idinvest announced the conclusion of a firm agreement that will create a private equity leader, with over €15 billion under management and serving the growth needs of companies in Europe and North America. Under the terms of this agreement, IDI, an investment company listed on Euronext Paris, has undertaken to sell its entire investment in Idinvest (i.e 51% of the share capital) to Eurazeo, which will subsequently own about 70% of the company, next to the Idinvest's management who will retain around 30%.
