Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, referred to as "Iron University" [34] and "Shijiazhuang University" for short, is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It is a national key university jointly built by the Hebei Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and the State Administration of Railways. It is a first-class university and first-class discipline construction universities supported by Hebei Province.

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is the first institution of higher learning in Singapore and the top institution in Asia. Its predecessor was a Straits colony established in 1 905.
