What is SolSea?
SolSea is the first open NFT marketplace on Solana with integrated minting. It also introduces NFTs with embedded licenses and Rarity rank, supports wallet funding with FTX-Pay and Moonpay, and is regularly updated with new features.

How do I get started on SolSea?
Begin by creating a Solana wallet, if you don’t already have one. Either Phantom, Sollet or Solflare will work. Deposit SOL onto your wallet, create a profile on SolSea, and you're ready to go.

SolSea currently supports Phantom, Sollet and Solflare.
What features does SolSea have?
SolSea is a product of the ALL.ART Protocol and includes features such as embedded licenses for NFTs, NFT compatibility with the SPL token standard allowing all NFTs minted on Solana to be listed, a calendar for major NFT drops on Solana, the ability to mint NFTs on the marketplace, and many, many more. We also periodically roll out new features, so keep an eye out for them!
When will SolSea enable bidding and auctions?
This feature is in the works; countdown is T-9 ;)

What are the fees on SolSea?
There is a 3% marketplace fee which occurs on every successful NFT sale. Artists can also decide their own creator’s fee (royalties).
There are NO other marketplace fees, only Solana network fees for other transactions (minting, listing, delisting, creating collections).
Does SolSea handle creators' royalties?
Yes, royalties are distributed to creators on every sale.
Who can we coordinate with to launch an NFT project on SolSea?
Anyone can list NFTs independently on the marketplace, or apply for collection verification after they have minted it. SolSea’s own launchpad is a feature that is coming soon.

How is an NFT’s rarity calculated?
We scrape data from the chain and JSONs of each NFT from the collection. Then we calculate trait numbers, rarity scores, indexes, ranks…
What is Rarity Rank?
Rarity Rank is an NFT’s rank based on its rarity within the collection it belongs to. It is a number that represents an NFT’s position within the collection based on the rarity score of that NFT.
