bm-t (beteiligungsmanagement thüringen GmbH) is a regional private equity and venture capital firm that is headquartered in Erfurt, Germany. It was founded in 2003 as the investment arm of the German State of Thuringia. It operates as a subsidiary of the Thuringia Development Bank. The firm makes early and growth stage capital investments in Thuringia-based companies in the life sciences, optics, micro-electronics, internet, digital media, and information technology sectors. The firm makes equity investments in amounts between €100,000 — €10,000,000 and mezzanine investments in amounts between €100,000 — €5,000,000.
