Zhemchuzina

Zhemchuzhina Football Club was founded in August 2013 by Odessa businessman Alexander Demenchuk. The team was formed by graduates of Odessa football schools. At the initial stage, friends of the president of the club, veterans of Odessa football — Alexander Babich, Gennady Nizhegorodov and Vitaly Rudenko played for the team. The head coach of the club was the former defender of Odessa "Chernomorets" and Krivoy Rog "Krivbass" Denis Kolchin[1][2].

In the 2014/15 season, the team participated in the Odessa Winter Championship for the first time. 12 amateur clubs from the Odessa region participated in the tournament. Following the results of the tournament, Zhemchuzhina made it to the final, where it sensationally beat the second-league Real Pharma in a penalty shootout. The club's player Alexander Mashnin was recognized as the best player of the tournament, Andrey Cherednyuk — the best goalkeeper of the competition[3].
