The main purpose of their creation is the repair of the technical fleet: dredging, dredging shells and auxiliary vessels. The Paratsky zaton was chosen for construction, located 40 km from the city of Kazan, at the intersection of the Volga River with the Moscow-Kazan railway, on land leased from the peasants of the village of Kabachishchi.
