Yakov Sinai is a mathematician, physicist, and professor born on September 21, 1935. He is located in the United States. Sinai received his education at Moscow State University and the MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. His notable work includes research in dynamical billiards.
Sinai's doctoral advisor was Andrey Kolmogorov, and he mentored several doctoral students, including Grigory Margulis, Leonid Bunimovich, Ilya Vinogradov, Dmitry Dolgopyat, Nikolai Chernov, and Michael Blank.
