Enterprise SaaS seed fund
On September 10, 2019 Work Life Ventures announced their Enterprise SaaS seed fund with $5 million in capital to invest in enterprise software companies. Work Life Ventures will use the funds to make investments of up to $150,000 in funding to each seed stage company it supports. The founder of Work Life Ventures, Brianne Kimmel, made the following statement regarding the inspiration behind raising the companies first venture fund:
You start by advising, then you start with very small angel checks,” Kimmel explains. “I reached this inflection point and it felt like a great moment to raise my own fund. I had friends like Ryan Hoover, who started Weekend Fund focused on consumer, and Alexia is one of my friends as well and I saw what she was doing with Dream Machine, which is also consumer. It felt like it was the right time to come out with a SaaS-focused fund.
