Veterinary Health Innovation Engine is a United Kingdom-based company that has created an online platform and various mobile applications for the collection of data from animals so that is can be used by their owners and other veterinary professionals. It is a collaborative effort between the University of Surrey and Zoetis Center for Digital Innovation in addition to other investors in the company.
In addition to applications that serve to complete tasks such as tracking animals' well-being and conducting supply chain management, the company offers other services. Other services include data storage from information that is collected from animals wearing wearables, remote sensors, social media, climatology, and other third party data. That data can be analyzed through vHive to provide business insights and research validation. The company also offers grant funding assistance, project management for both commercial and academic sectors, and access to workshops where clients can test veterinary prototypes.
