VAPAR is a Sydney-based software development firm. It has a platform on which councils and water utility agencies can upload pipe and sewer-related videos for instant analyses. The intended result for these analyses is to detect or prevent conditions that would create faulty underground pipes which used for water distribution and sewage disposal. It is a cost-efficient and timely method for maintaining infrastructures that are essential to most inhabited areas of the county.
VAPAR offers three services. The first is pipe CCTV condition assessment in which the platform can analyze the condition of storm water and sewer pipes from within the pipes themselves. The manually-input data is smart-matched to data in the video footage to cross-analyze pipe defects. The second is machine learning defect identification, which is engineered to alert users of any defects in the pipes. The final service is asset condition visualization and insight, which uses data that is hosted in a cloud to provide users with analytics concerning pipe conditions throughout Australia.
VAPAR is one of six Australian companies chosen for Fusion Labs Access India Program, an incubator program intended to advance North South West territory companies to engage with India.
