Umka

A cartoon about the friendship between a bear cub named Umka and a little boy. They will have to part as the polar expedition ends and people have to leave the land where polar bears live.

Umka is the name of a polar bear cub. The mama bear talks about people, but also cautions (they smell like smoke). Then Umka accidentally meets a Chukchi boy and compares him and himself. A friendship develops. However, the people leave the area where Umka lived. The bear cub is unhappy. He wants to find his friend.

In 2019, the final animated film, "Umka on the Christmas Tree," was released to coincide with the anniversary of the first animated film about the bear cub. Thus, the series of films about Umka, his mother, and his boy friend became a trilogy
