Legacy Air Force IT systems behind the Operational Training Infrastructure (OTI) are inhibiting warfighter readiness due to lack of interoperability and flexibility, high costs, and need for manual processes. Next generation cloud computing that focuses on cloud-native, serverless designs will enable the Air Force to embrace agility, security, scalability, and lower costs to modernize the OTI. Trek10, an Advanced Partner in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem, has built a highly successful commercial platform, the Data Ingestion Engine (DigE) on this foundation. To modernize Air Force OTI, Trek10 will adapt the DigE platform to establish Migration Foundry concepts for the Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation (AFAMS) Operational Training Infrastructure (OTI) Ecosystem initiative.
